To give your smile the best chance for oral health care success, make sure you’re using safe and effective products for your oral health care and hygiene daily routines. This includes flossing every day. By flossing with an interdental cleaner such as the water flosser, you can keep your smile safe by cleaning between teeth on a daily basis with effective products that are used to the best of their abilities.

In order to ensure your flossing routines are useful, it is important to make sure you’re using products that are safe and effective for use. Speak with your dentist about product recommendations or suggestions and look for the ADA Seal of Acceptance on product packaging. As a general rule of thumb, you should floss two to three minutes each day making sure you floss between each and every tooth and behind the teeth in your back row. If flossing with traditional dental floss is difficult, try using an alternative interdental tool such as a water flosser. Water flossers use beams of water to clean between teeth. If you do decide to use threaded dental floss, make sure it is to shred-resistant, so it will not fray upon use.
